Texas Boom Company offers a range of oil-only absorbent products to help with oil spill clean up. The products include boom, pads, and rolls. The boom are constructed with poly blend filler that absorbs oil while repelling water. The booms can be joined end to end to create oil barriers of any length. The pads and rolls are SonicBonded, meaning they are constructed from a single layer of uniform polypropylene fibers that sonically bonded. The process creates dimples that reduce lint and add strength. Pound for pound, these products offer the greatest absorbency of all melt blown products.
