Barrier floats are used to restrict vessel operators and swimmers from entering areas that are off-limits, such as around dams, spillways, and designated swim areas. The B3452A is one of the larger Type A barrier floats in the Rolyan line, with 1,600 lbs of submerged buoyancy. It is constructed with a 3/4 in steel rod through the float and galvanized swivel eyes on both ends, and can be strung together with rope or cable.
