B1800A Type A Barrier Float
Barrier floats are used to restrict vessel operators and swimmers from entering areas that are off-limits, such as around dams, spillways, and designated swim areas. The B1800A is a Type A barrier float, meaning it is constructed with a steel rod running through the float and galvanized swivel eye nuts on both ends. Multiple units can be strung together with rope or cable to create a barrier of any required length.
