Texablad Maine Bladders are pillow shaped collapsible fabric tanks that have been specially designed for use on water. The design incorporates foam or air filled side flotation members that allow the Texablad Marine Bladder to float, whether empty or full, stationary or under tow. Flotation members are designed such that although they are an integral part of the bladder, they are not welded to the edges of the bladder, this is done to avoid tears to the bladder compartment. Furthermore, the flotation members also act as fenders. Frontal ASTM aluminum towing edge is connected via tension members to the aft aluminum brackets. This arrangement completely isolates and protects the main body of the bladder from being subjected to excessive tension and torque, as well as affording a convenient means for sage towing of the bladder during marine operations. Texablad Marine Bladders are manufactured from double coated fabric with holding capacities ranging from 100 to 25,000 gallons and up.
