Riverine Series Containment Boom is specially designed to handle containment in flowing waters such as rivers, irrigation canals, etc. This unique river boom incorporates permanent cylindrical floatation and skirts with specific open areas, which can handle currents up to 4 knots. Pressure control perforation of the skirt will release the dynamic impact of the flowing water, and results in deployment of the minimum length of boom necessary to bridge the river. Riverine Series Containment Boom are equipped with extra heavy ballast chain for added stability.
