Flotank is a self raising lightweight and compact emergency response storage tank, specifically designed or situations when large fluid storage on site is urgently required. It has a variety of uses in fire fighting, hazardous spill response, refineries, chemical plants, pipeline maintenance and operations, as well as temporary secondary containment. Flotank is manufactured from double coated urethane fabric with an inflatable or foam filled rim (5 inches in diameter) and an overall useful depth of 5 feet. Due to its' light weight and compact size, a 5,000 gallon capacity Flotank can easily be carried by two men and deployed in remote locations. The inflatable collar Flotank can be inflated and operative in less than one minute. Foam filled Flotank is ready to use. Standard Flotanks are manufactured with either an inflatable or foam filled rim and 5 foot actual depth with capacities ranging from 500 to 5,000 gallons. To avoid evaporation or contamination of the liquid, lids for the Flotank can also be manufactured. When not in use, the tank folds and can be placed in its' cover bag, having minimal storage volume.
