Texas Boom Company's Barrier Reef Boom Series are flexible, high tensile and heavy duty containment booms, designed with specific objectives, offering: excellent wave conformity--great ease of deployment and retrieval--high velocity towing capability--maximum resistance to weathering--high UV, chemical, and marine growth resistance--longevity. The Barrier Reef Boom Series are available with overall heights from 10 to 60 inches.

- Salient Features of Barrier Reef Boom

BARRIER REEF FABRICS: Heavy duty conveyor belt type coated fabrics with a minimum of 1500 lbs/in. width tensile strength.
COLORS: International orange, yellow, and black.

BARRIER REEF FLOTATION: Flotation members are made from solid polyethylene skin filled with closed cell polyurethane foam, and are practically indestructible
and unsinkable.

BALLAST: Appropriate size marine brass discs are
bolted to the lower edge of the Barrier fabric for increased
stability.

END CONNECTORS & FASTENINGS: Barrier Reef Booms are
fitted with ASTM-962-94 universal quick latch connectors,
which are equipped with stainless steel nuts, bolts, and
toggle pins.
